As a stand-alone event, or an add-on to your holiday party, this app is filled with fun challenges that will get teams talking, laughing, and working together… wherever you are! It will get your players: exploring the city, digging up interesting cultural morsels, completing fun challenges, organically bonding as a team, moving, having fun, getting creative, interacting with colleagues in a new light!

How it works

Working in teams of 3 – 6 people, players complete fun challenges in a race against their colleagues and the clock. Challenges incorporate teamwork, communication, strategizing, creativity and problem-solving, all with a dash of culture and humour. Some sample challenges:

    Back straight. Lips pursed. Eyes that say “I was born to rule.” All that’s missing is your crown. Find it and take a selfie on a royal street worthy of your majesty. King Street, Queen Street, Prince Arthur…whatever it is, show the commoners their true ruler.

    It's Getting Hot in Here

    Call in a five alarm blaze because it’s about to get hot in here! Submit your team’s entry to this year’s Firefighter Calendar. Careful not to fog up the camera lens. 5 Bonus points if there is an ACTUAL firefighter in your photo. Points deducted if the firefighter was interrupted fighting a fire to take your photo.

(*) Optional:For an additional cost, we can provide pre-loaded iPads with the application ready to play, including data and spare battery pack.

We are happy to include your company’s mission, values, conference topic, etc. into the hunt, as well as change the start or ending location to suit your needs, and include special announcements in the introduction or conclusion. Note, there is a customization fee for changes to questions and themes.
Your group will all meet in one spot to be given a detailed introduction by our hunt hosts, but once the hunt starts, groups will separate into smaller teams (3 – 6 players) to complete the challenges.
Once you have decided on a date and time, and spoken with our dedicated event planners, and are ready to book, we have a simple process. We ask for a 50% deposit on your estimated player count, which secured the booking. From there, you have up to a week before the event to adjust your headcount.
Yes, at the end of the hunt, we will present the winning team with the much coveted golden magnifying glass (1 per team.)

However, some groups prefer to offer additional prizes to the winning team, or even to all participants. If you wish to do so, you can simply give the prizes to our hunt hosts at the beginning of the event and they will award them to the winners at the end of the hunt.

Photos submitted as part of challenges are provided to you for your company’s use.
Details of a Search Party! Scavenger Hunt:

Your Urban Capers Search Party! scavenger hunt takes between 1 – 3 hours depending (on your schedule) and can be done anywhere in the world! Players will come out of the Search PARTY! with a deeper understanding of themselves and their teammates, and a sense of connection to those who took part in the adventure.  After the event, your organization will have access to all photos and videos taken at the event, for your own internal/promo purposes.
